This forum was created by Dave Leach R-IA Bible Lover-musician-grandpa (talk) 23:14, 26 March 2023 (UTC) to help prolifers discuss the most effective evidence and legal arguments to include in legislation designed to force courts to address the overwhelming consensus of court-recognized fact finders that babies are people, which requires all states to outlaw abortion, according to the 14th Amendment, as Roe pointed, which Dobbs did not challenge. The original post of this article was condensed from "How States Can Outlaw Abortion in a Way that Survives Courts", by Dave Leach. Available as a paperback, Kindle, or as a free PDF.

SCRIPTURES ABOUT ANSWERED PRAYER

(My email to a prolife organization)

How to react when someone shows you the solution to the "impossible" problem that came to him after decades of praying for the same thing you have been praying for.

I pray you won't dismiss a proffered answer to your prayer as too "impossible" to merit your attention.

Matthew 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

DO YOU PRAY WITH ME FOR ABORTION TO END, not just partly in only a few "red states" in a few more years over the objections of stuck-in-the-past judges, but to end completely even in "blue states" in mostly about a year? So have I - praying, writing, lobbying, and arguing in court.

You don't have to guess whether your mission is God's Will. Scripture says so. Proverbs 24:10 If you faint in a crisis, you are weak. 11 Rescue captives condemned to death, and spare those staggering toward their slaughter. 12 When you say, “We didn’t know this,” won’t the one who weighs hearts take note of it? Won’t the one who guards your soul know it? Won’t he pay back people for what they do? (GW)

Therefore your prayer is that God will equip you to obey Him. That God will make obedience possible. You should have enough confidence that God WILL answer such a prayer, to interest you in scrutinizing a strategy which claims to achieve your goal, and to make you suspicious of authorities who identify that goal, on its face, as a mirage.

Not that you should ignore traditional authorities. I haven't. In fact, Jesus gives us the example of how to test our mission: seek out the top authorities in the world about the subject of your mission, and see if they can refute you.

Luke 2:41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover. 42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast. 43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it. 44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance. 45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him. 46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. 47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.

This is what I have done. For 25 years I published the Prayer and Action News, which got me much unpleasant attention in the media, which included interaction with abortionists. Likewise in court I interacted with some of Planned Barrenhood's most expensive lawyers, and learned the limits of their ability to refute my reasoning and evidence. I learned directly, as well as by reading rulings against others, what arguments they ignore, or deflect with "straw men" mischaracterizations, because they can't honestly, squarely address them, and still refute them.

But I am not finished testing my findings. I challenge you to submit the attachment to lawyers you trust. But don't just accept their verdict if without actually refuting anything they just call me names, or say I can't understand anything since I am not a lawyer. Make them actually refute at least some detail of this strategy. And if they can, please share their response with me so I can learn; or so I can respond, if I am able.

Scripture says the key to wisdom, and thence to success, is not paying a few top thinkers to figure out solutions we are too lazy to read, telling ourselves "oh, I'm not much of a reader", but is a Multitude of Counsellors.

HOW TO GET HELP RECOGNIZING GOD'S ANSWER

Jesus' promise to answer prayers is actually not to you alone as much as it is to you and several others. Your email asks for money, not wisdom; but the Bible promises success where there is wisdom, and tells us that our wisdom is limited when we think alone. Money is used by activist organizations to place a small amount of wisdom before a large number of people who can then forward that small amount of wisdom to key lawmakers. But if there is a way to get a large number of people to master a large amount of wisdom without being paid to, for no better reason than they want to obey God, not so much money is needed.

Proverbs 15:22 Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.

Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

1 Corinthians 14:30 If God reveals something to another person who is seated, the first speaker should be silent. 31 All of you can take your turns speaking what God has revealed. In that way, everyone will learn and be encouraged. (GW) The whole chapter, which describes ideal Christian meetings, describes not a sermon with which there is no verbal interaction, but a forum in which all are urged, in seven verses, to share what they have realized which meets the broad criteria of verse 3.

It seems that God's way is not to reveal Himself fully to you, or to me, but to US. He created us to need each other. Perhaps to put pressure on us to learn to love one another. At least enough to cooperate on a few things. Whether our goal is to keep pencils available, or Freedom, it takes teams.

SOME DIFFICULTIES ABOUT ACCEPTING GOD'S ANSWERS TO OUR PRAYERS

Unfortunately for humans who would rather watch TV 40 hours a week, the desire for more life saving than traditional familiar strategies envision requires enough desperation to save lives, to read and consider more solutions than traditional sources offer, which may come from other than traditional authorities. But to do that, you have to read more than a page, perhaps even more than 100 pages, since solutions to complicated problems probably need to be complicated; and then the hardest part: to have confidence in our own ability to read reasoning, logic, and evidence, and to act on what appears true, without waiting for traditional authorities to validate them for us.

It takes not waiting for traditional authorities to validate a hope that races far beyond the hope they offer, all the way to an answer to our prayers, while we challenge the messenger of a promise matching what we have prayed for to PROVE it is really God's answer and God is with it, which we will never believe anyway before traditional authorities validate it because we don't trust our own eyes and brains. It requires marching on ahead ourselves to the Answer to our Prayer which others call a mirage, as we challenge the traditional authorities to PROVE this greater hope than they offer is NOT God's answer to our prayer and God is NOT with it.

My attempt to visualize how to transform an activist organization like yours, according to Scripture clues about Multitudes of Counsellors, is posted at God's_Blueprints_for_Political_Victories

Some of the same Scripture study but focused on how churches should become the "Multitude of Counsellors" described in the Bible is posted at Bible_Blueprints_for_Christian_Meetings

My website at www.savetheworld.saltshaker.us is designed to be an online version of such a forum, which all other organizations can use to collaborate - to discuss and develop wisdom needed to successfully heal Darkness.
